Reinforcing its commitment to sustainability in favor of a local socio-environmental project, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines launched, in August from 04/08/2022 to 28/08/2022, the KLM Cycle for Trees Challenge.
The Challenge consisted of cycling to convert the kilometers cycled into trees, in this case, for every 25 km cycled, KLM converted it into 1 tree, with the main goal of reaching 150,000 km cycled so that 6,000 trees could be planted in the Amazon region.
The planting will be carried out by us at Meu Pé de Árvores in November, in the Amazon, to recover degraded areas with the implementation of regenerative production systems, carried out by family farmers.
