Kawasan Hutan Mangrove Caplok Barong, Kabupaten Cirebon, Jawa Barat

The Caplok Barong Mangrove Forest area is an ecotourism area located in East Cirebon. In this place with a mangrove forest approximately 300 meters long, visitors can walk around the mangrove forest via bamboo bridges available throughout the area. Apart from that, visitors can also enjoy the waters around the mangrove forest using boats from local fishermen. The Caplok Barong Mangrove Forest area not only attracts tourists, but is also useful for increasing the economic growth of the residents who depend on it for their livelihoods there. Until 2021, LindungiHutan has planted 1854 trees in a 0.7 ha area and absorbed 1.4 tonnes of CO2 ekv.
