OblongTrees - Promise The Pod

Steigerwald Lake Wildlife Refuge We've funded the planting of 2,000 trees in this area. The project is taking place at the Steigerwald National Wildlife Refuge and your trees will be a part of a larger effort to improve wetland habitat, providing flood protection benefits and reconnecting riparian habitat. Additional ecological benefits from this project include the creation of juvenile salmon refugia, promoting long term stream shading, large wood recruitment and improved water quality.
