In 2010, Stéphane Hallaire traveled to Senegal and helped out with a reforestation project. He planted his first trees there: mango trees. He then became aware of the many benefits they would create. This was the start of the Reforest’Action adventure. On his return to France, he created the company with the ambition to promote the benefits of forests on the ecosystem and taking action to preserve it. The first years were difficult, with little awareness of the issues. Despite this, Reforest’Action grew through perseverance and innovation. It was in 2019 when the business began pick up speed. The increase in international awareness of the climate crisis and the erosion of biodiversity helped out. Today, Reforest’Action is, more than ever, driven by challenge and innovation, to go further, faster and with more efficiency. It’s an international team with strong human values, engaged in a unifying and ambitious project.
