Emerging Climate Champions Award

On June 26, 2025, Enlight Foundation, The Patchwork Collective, and Lever for Change announced the launch of the Emerging Climate Champions Award, a $25 million global open call that will provide flexible multiyear gifts of $1 million each to youth-led organizations advancing climate solutions across the globe. The Emerging Climate Champions Award supports youth-led (ages 15–35) climate organizations with at least two years of experience and measurable impact. Despite youth being most affected by climate change, funding for their initiatives is extremely limited. This global open call seeks to highlight and fund community-led organizations, especially from underrepresented groups, working on a wide range of climate solutions—from education and advocacy to resilience and sustainable agriculture. Applicants must register to apply before 5 p.m. U.S. Eastern Time on Friday, August 15, 2025. Once registered, applicants must submit an online application before 5 p.m. U.S. Eastern Time on Monday, September 22, 2025.
