The RestorLife Awards 2026, presented by Restor, Ma Earth, and the G20 Global Land Initiative, celebrates the incredible efforts of local communities and NGOs worldwide who are protecting nature, restoring biodiversity, and building sustainable livelihoods. These awards exist to recognize, support, and amplify the stories of those making a real difference on the ground. This year, the awards will run a global call for applications, open from May 7 – 31, 2026, inviting non-profit organizations actively restoring and protecting nature. From all applicants, at least 1 finalist from each of six regions (see below) will be selected, each receiving between $2,000 and $15,000 in match funding from Ma Earth to help scale and amplify their restoration projects. The evaluation committee will assess applications across four criteria: - Proven Impact: Evidence of restoration and biodiversity results. - Long-term Vision: Sustainability beyond the award period. - Community Involvement: Deep engagement with local stakeholders. - Responsible Stewardship: Demonstrating a commitment to ethical practices and global best practices. To ensure a truly global impact, our evaluation committee will choose one winner from 6 - 10 regional finalists to receive a separate and additional $10,000 winner’s prize from the G20 Global Land Initiative. By shining a spotlight on these initiatives, the RestorLife Awards aim to inspire action, foster collaboration, and drive meaningful change for our planet. Join us in celebrating the people and projects that are restoring life to Earth. Regions: - North America - Latin America and the Caribbean - Europe - Sub-Saharan Africa - The Middle East and North Africa (MENA) - Asia and the Pacific
