This area of land is 338 hectares of mostly salinity affected land, due to over farming. COA will be revegetating this land area with 220,000 native plant species to bring back the original biodiversity of the area. Planting is due to start in April 2023. COA are the Indigenous owners of this land. We also have a 50 million native plant nursery planned for construction on this land. The native plants from the nursery will be utilised for large scale biodiverse revegetation projects across the Wheatbelt area, which has 1.5 million hectares of salinity affected land that needs to be restored. We are currently looking for investment to construct the nursery and to purchase some of the lands that need to be restored back to their original biodiversity. COA has a NFP organisation, Desire to Aspire (D2A), which requires funds to deliver its crucial programs to break the cycle of poverty for disadvantaged Indigenous youth. D2A is in the initial stages of establishing a smaller native plant nursery, Native Spirit Nursery in Wanneroo Perth WA. The nursery has capacity to produce 5 million native plants each year. All profits generated from the nursery are reinvested back into D2A to fund their programs. Sponsorship and donations are currently being sought from philanthropic bodies who align with and believe in our philosophies. D2A website is: https://www.desiretoaspire.com.au/make-a-donation/
