Project Purpose

Plant With Purpose has partnered with rural farming communities to reverse deforestation and poverty for over 35 years. Our signature “watershed model” is a scalable, evidence-based approach that results in a 55 percent reduction in poverty among participants, on average. As farmers implement regenerative practices, their upstream actions impact downstream communities—there is a ripple effect as neighbors share their knowledge with neighbors and the whole ecosystem is gradually transformed. We aim to partner with nearly one million families by 2025.
